Words and stuff.

“Sweetie, this isn’t heaven. But thank you” Debbie smiled.
“It was heaven when I was a kid, so much better than my mums sausage casserole! Whenever Tom mentioned that he was having this for dinner I used to ask him if I could have dinner here” I grinned. Tom laughed. “I remember that. One time I said no so you came round yourself and asked mum if you could” Tom grinned.
“It’s just so good!” I giggled.

After dinner, Tom and I helped Debbie put everything into the dishwasher before we all went into the garden because it was such lovely weather for October. “Can we play a game?” Carrie asked.
“What were you thinking sweetie?” Bob asked.
“Erm...monopoly!” Carrie grinned.
“Noo that takes too long and we’re going to have to leave around 4, we’re up early tomorrow” Tom said. “Fine then. Erm scrabble?” Carrie asked.
“That’s fine by me. Tee?” Tom turned to me and smiled.
“Sure, scrabble is fine” I smiled. Bob and Debbie agreed to play too and so Carrie went off to get the game. “Problem is, only 4 of us can play” Tom mumbled.
“That’s fine, I won’t play” Bob said.
“No, don’t worry! I’ll play with Tom, I’m awful at scrabble anyway” I laughed, moving closer to Tom.
“I only know music related words” Tom laughed.
“Well that’s better than nothing Tombo” I laughed as Carrie came back out.
“Tee and I are going to be a team seeing as only four of us can technically play” Tom said as Carrie sat down. “But  that’s not fair, you’ve got the cleverest brains” Carrie laughed.
“And how did you figure that out?” Tom laughed.
“Well my brain is only just fully developed, and mum and dad are losing their minds” Carrie laughed. “Oi you” Bob laughed before he started setting up the game.

An hour later and Tom and I had won. “See, that was unfair as there were two of you” Carrie laughed. “Just get over the fact that we won because you are stooopid” Tom laughed.
“Pffft I’m cleverer than you” Carrie laughed.
“If you say so” Tom laughed as he got up. “Would you like some help with pudding mum?” He asked before he followed his mum inside. “What have you been up to lately then Tee?” Bob asked.
“Not much to be honest Bob. I’m still working for Heat which is alright; I spend some time in the offices but most of my time at home. I’m going with Tom to Australia tomorrow to support Dougie which is going to be fun. But otherwise, not much else. What about you Bob? And you Carrie?” I asked. “Work going well? And nothing much” Bob laughed.
“Work is going really well thanks” I grinned before turning to Carrie. “What have you been up to Carrie?” I asked.
“I’ve started making YouTube videos and I’ve had more meetings about my music. It’s all going pretty darn well” Carrie grinned.
“I’ve seen a few of your videos, I was going to mention them but I forgot” I laughed. “You’re natural at it hun” I smiled.
