Frosty

I'm sending off a letter tomorrow to my old infants school, asking if they would be able to take me on for work experience next year to give me a better chance on getting into uni. The current 'executive headteacher' is my old maths teacher from juniors school and I was just speaking to Amy about her and saying that I hope she doesn't remember me. Amy just reminded me of what a wacky teacher she was so I am going to talk about her.

Her name was Miss Frost and she was lovely. She was our year 5 maths teacher and she was also crackers. To be a maths teacher it seems you have to be crackers. The main thing I remember from year 5 maths is this program called Maths Mansion and the fact the whole row of boys at the back always sung the theme song whenever we watched it.

But there was this other time that Amy just reminded me about and I laughed so much remembering it. We were learning about graphs and the axis' on graphs and she went onto explain how she remembered which was the Y axis and which was the X by lying on the class room floor and saying 'you lie down for a kiss' (x) 'and then you stand up' (she said as she stood up) 'and ask why' (y)...I always remembered that throughout maths...or if there was an occasion when I forgot, I asked Amy and she reminded me of this :')

She also walked past me and my friend dancing in her garden and stopped and watched us and then clapped...
