“But what? I wasn’t turned on by Whisky” Tom laughed but then stopped. “Argh my head” He moaned. “Maybe it was just the mood of the night. The alcohol and the music. The dancing” I said.

“Hmm maybe” Tom said, smiling at me. “I had best get a shower now. I love you” Tom said, kissing my head. He then got up and headed to his room. Am I really that unattractive that he can’t admit that I turned him on?

45 minutes later and I was driving us down to the doctors. Well, Tom to the doctors and myself to the café.  We weren’t really talking much, but I put that down to Tom being hung over. “We’re here. I’m going to go park down the road. Meet me in the café afterwards alright Tom?” I said, pulling into a parking space at the doctors surgery. “Yeah sure Tee” Tom said. He got out of the car and wondered into the surgery. I reversed out of the parking space and drove round to the café.

Around an hour later Tom wondered into the café and walked over to the counter. He ordered his drink before coming over and sitting down opposite me. He was still wearing his sunglasses and his hair was all over the place. “Feeling any better?” I asked.

“No” Tom replied bluntly.

“What happened?” I asked, leaning over and taking his glasses off. Tom blinked, adjusting to the light. “She didn’t turn up” Tom said, running a hand through his hair.

“Oh no. So what did you then do?” I asked.

“I phoned her and have spent the past fucking half an hour shouting at her” Tom grinned. I grinned back at him just as the waitress came over and handed him his drink. “Thank you” Tom smiled at her before turning back to me. “Right so I left the doctors and headed down to the park. I then phoned her and she answered and apologized for running late. I then broke up with her and she started screaming at me and so I told her to shut the fuck up and just tell me if she was actually pregnant or if she just said. She told me she just said it and so I started shouting at her and by the end of it she was crying but you know what, I don’t feel bad at all about it” Tom said. I smiled.

“I’m sorry about the baby though” I said.

“Me too. I can’t honestly believe that she lied that much” Tom said.

“So are you officially not together anymore?” I asked.

“I honestly don’t know Tee. I don’t love her and I don’t think I ever will do but she’s fun. She’s a laugh. Yes she is incredibly stupid and annoying a lot of the time but she’s sweet and has a great body” Tom shrugged.

“Tom you are a sucker for a hot woman aren’t you” I laughed.

“Isn’t every man?” Tom asked.
