“Tom, I
think you should tell her” I smiled.
“But what if
we realise that this is all wrong?” Tom asked, biting his lip.
“Well you
are kneeling over my crotch and I usually get extremely embarrassed over that
but this feels right. When we kiss it feels right” I replied. Tom laughed
before he leant over and kissed me lightly. “I want to tell her face to face
though” Tom said, leaning back.
“Webcam with
her then. We can’t leave it until we get back from Oz” I shrugged.
“Fine” Tom
grinned before he got up off of me.
“Oh” I
whimpered. Tom raised his eyebrows.
“I don’t
think going on webcam like that to my parents is the best idea ever” He
laughed. I giggled whilst sitting up. “I’m sorry, it was just nice” I smiled.
“Bless you”
Tom laughed before he held his phone to his hand. “Hey mum. Yes, I got your
text. Yes. No. Nope. Well, here’s the thing. I really need to talk to you face
to face but I can’t come over so can we
Skype? Yes. 5 minutes? Okay. See you soon” Tom said before he hung up.
“5 minutes”
Tom smiled before he came and sat next to me.
“What are we
going to say to them?” I asked.
“I’m just
going to tell her that I broke up with Sam yesterday. And that I am now dating
someone exactly like you” Tom grinned. I rolled my eyes before laughing.
“Can I sit
down there and watch you? I don’t want to be on screen at first” I said.
“Sure” Tom
smiled before he kissed me lightly.
“Mmm” I
giggled, snaking my arm around his neck. Tom laughed.
“I’d best
get onto Skype” Tom mumbled a few minutes later.
“Uh huh.
I’ll be down here” I smiled, getting up and sitting down on the floor out of
view.
“Don’t make
me laugh” Tom laughed as he leant over to sort out his laptop.
“I’ll try
not to” I giggled.
“She’s
already on so shh” Tom grinned before he clicked some more buttons. “Hey mum!”
He grinned a few seconds later. “Hey honey, are you okay? You sounded nervous
on the phone?” I heard Debbie ask. “I am fine mum, perfect, in fact. How are
you?” Tom asked.
“I’m
good...just worried about what you have to tell me that you couldn’t tell me
over the phone” Debbie replied. “Don’t worry, it’s fine” Tom laughed. “Where’s
dad?” He added.
“Upstairs
somewhere” Debbie replied.
“Okay well I
had best just tell you and you can pass it on to him and Carrie” Tom said.
“Okay. Tom,
if you’ve done something bad can you please just not tell us? I’d rather not
get caught up in it” Debbie said.
“Mum, I
haven’t done anything bad, okay! I wanted to tell you that I’m not with Sam
anymore” Tom said. “Really? Well that’s good. No offense but we never liked her
Tom. She wasn’t good for you. Why couldn’t you have said this on the phone
though?” Debbie asked.
