More Words.

“Why thank you” Carrie grinned.
“CHILDREN!” Debbie called. “AND BOB!” She added. We all stood up and headed inside. “Sorry, I don’t really know why I called you children seeing as you’re not anymore” Debbie said as we entered the kitchen. “I don’t mind being called a child” I grinned as I sat down next to Tom at the table. Dessert was honeycomb cheesecake, my favourite. “You are a child at heart Treasure” Tom smiled.
“Says you” I laughed.
“Has he still got all his stuffed toys in his room Treasure?” Debbie asked
“I don’t know, I never go in his room” I replied.
“The answer is yes, mum. They are all on the sofa in my room” Tom said.
“Really? The ones you used to have in your room?” I turned to Tom and asked.
“And more” He giggled.
“Oh dear” I laughed, shaking my head.
“Is there a problem with having them? You don’t even see them” Tom laughed.
“Well true...” I said before turning to Debbie. “I’ll make sure he doesn’t have them by the end of the year” I whispered. Debbie laughed.
“That will never happen, Tee. He is attached to them toys” Carrie laughed.
“Hmm, we’ll see” I laughed before we all dug into pudding.

Half an hour later and Tom and I were on our way back home. “I’m glad you had a nice time today sweetie” Tom said.
“I had a lovely time and it was nice to see your family” I grinned before turning to face him. “And it was nice talking to you about things and beginning our...relationship? Should I call it that?” I asked. Tom smiled as he quickly glanced at me. “Yeah you should if that’s what you think we are having. I think that was my favourite part of the day” Tom smiled.
“It was my favourite part too” I whispered, realising that it actually was my favourite part of the day.
Once home, Tom and I went in and Marvin was sat waiting on the coffee table. “Marv, should you really be up there?” Tom asked as he walked through the living room and into the kitchen, I walked over to the coffee table and picked Marvin up. “Hello beautiful” I smiled, carrying him in my arms like a baby and into the kitchen.
“Who’s looking after little man whilst we’re in Oz Tombo?” I asked.
“Erm Danny is popping in for the first few days and then Carrie is coming to stay and look after him” Tom replied, smiling softly at me. “Ahh okay. Well little man will enjoy having Carrie around” I said, stroking Marvin’s tummy. Tom walked over and stroked Marvin’s head before he smiled at me. “Hey put Marv down Tee” Tom said. I rolled my eyes before putting him down on the floor.
“You don’t like him liking me do you?” I laughed. Tom shook his head, laughing before he leant down and kissed me softly. At first I was unsure what to do, it felt strange. Yet incredibly right. I kissed Tom back, grinning.
