Although I am good at receiving things and getting things from my family, I hate receiving things from other people, especially those who I do not know all that well.
Something has come up and I have been offered to go on this wonderful weekend away, travel and accommodation and stuff paid for. But I don't think that I can accept it. I don't know this person all that well and although it is such a lovely oppertunity and gesture, it is expensive and why should they spend their money on me?
There is more to the story then just this, but this is all I am willing to post on a social media site where anyone can read. Just because, you know.
