No Idea

I have no idea what to blog about tonight. I am on my iPod, watching Big Fat Quiz of the 00's and laughing at Jimmy Carr's laugh. I am happy because Alan Carr and Noel Fielding are on it. And Sarah Millican despite her voice annoys me when she talks too much. It was also nice when Dougie and Harry made an appearance.

Mum has gone away to Mexico for her birthday and won't be back until the 11th which is sucking but ahh well.

The Meaning of Life

Now it was only a couple days ago that I was asked on Formspring what the Meaning of Life was and I came to the conclusion that it was to be happy. And Dan had just made this clear to me. He's put my thoughts into words. And I wish that everyone I knew would think like this. A lot of people I know tell me to get out of the house and 'get a life'. I have one and I am living the only life I am going to get and if I chose to spend most of this one and only life I have on Tumblr, Twitter and YouTube, stalking celebrities and annoying them until they want to kill me, then that's my choice. It's only this section of my life. I'm going to uni next year to do something that I want to do. I think I figured out earlier this year that we only get one life and I need to live it how I wish and to do what makes me happy, and this is why/how I figured out that I wanted to be a teacher and not a photographer. Dan didn't want to do Law at uni, did he. He felt 'pressured' almost into it, almost as if he wouldn't get anywhere in life without a degree and despite wanting to do acting and stuff, he decided to do law which was too much for him. You don't need to go to uni to do well in life. As long as YOU, yes YOU, are happy, then nothing is wrong. And at this moment in time, I am happy with my life and so I am not going to change anything.

The video did confuse me before making me realise that basically he had just explained what I have been thinking over these past few months. If I go to uni and am not happy doing it, I'm not going to stay. I sort of think I made the wrong decision by sticking on and doing the 2nd year of my course, I should have gone and done a childcare course or something, but I wasn't pressured into doing it. It was my choice and I understand that.

This has been rather heart-felt for a change.
Actually, a few of my blog posts recently have been rather 'personal' as such and I have put quite a bit into them. How strange, maybe I am just going through a very thoughtful time at the moment.

Names of the Kid variety

Actually, not just kids. Kids and pets.

I was randomly talking to Amy on twitter about kid names because of reasons and I realised that I have never blogged about this (well, not that I remember...)

I've wanted a husky since around year 5. Some of my friends have known me always wanting a husky which is amusing. I have a definite name for a girl husky; Scianna. But I want a boy husky. And I'm not so sure on the name, but I've always kinda liked the name Freddy. But who knows.

I've also got the full name for a possible future daughter which is Skylar Amylia. I also love the name Saskia...so, yeah. I like 'unusual' girls names beginning with S if you couldn't tell...

But I don't have any ideas for boys. No wait, actually that's a lie. I had a phase where I was adamant that I was going to call a daughter Rebekah and a son Alex. But nah, not any more. I like usual. But I really like the names Aaron and Ryan. So yeah...I also like the name Riley. But for a girl...and Felix. But again, I prefer it for a girl even though it is a boys name...I wouldn't name her Felix, I would name her Felicity but call her Felix...

Bootiful

Dan Howell is beautiful and Tuesday is his YouNow night and it's wonderful and magical and stuff <3 And both tonight and last Tuesday he responded to me, reading my comments on <3 Last week he was asking what TV programs we watched around age 12 and I said ARTHUUUUUUUR! and he read it out and then talked about it for a bit. And today he was saying that he didn't become a YouTuber to 'vlog' but to mainly share his life fails so I commented going 'I like it when Dan fails' and he then read it out and burst out laughing before talking about his fails. Aww he is adorabubble and beautiful and erggghhh stupid Dan!

Sign Language

I have decided to learn British Sign Language.

I have kind of been interested in it in ages, and it is one of my 101 Things To Do Before I Die, and so I am going to learn it next year. Well, start to. It'll take a long time.

I started to learn yesterday using the interwebz. I learnt to 'say' 'hi my name is Laura, nice to meet you. How are you?' before realising that I was learning American Sign Language...oops! So now I know this...and then I learnt how to 'say' my name in BSL and today Jasmine and I learnt the whole alphabet during lessons as we were bored which was fun and so now I know the whole alphabet which is a start! :D
