“Don’t be sorry Tom, you have nothing to be sorry about” I said, grabbing the box of tissues from the table and wiping away his tears. “I am though. I am sorry that I have played Sam. I don’t love her. I like her, she makes me laugh, she’s bloody gorgeous and amazing in bed but I don’t love her and I don’t think I ever will do. I should have ended it with her ages ago. But I didn’t and now I am stuck” Tom sighed. “Tom don’t apologize to me about that. Sam was my friend. But she isn’t any more and I don’t care about her. I do agree that you should have broken up with her ages ago seeing as you know that you won’t ever love her. But you are not stuck Tom. She’s pregnant and going to have your child. You need to realise and get to grips with that. But that doesn’t mean that you have to stay with her. You can still be a dad to the child without actually being with Sam” I said.

“I know Treasure. Why did I get myself in this situation, huh” Tom laughed dryly.

“Because you are a typical young man who when given the opportunity to date a beautiful woman takes it. You, unlike other young men, however haven’t fallen for her, but she has fallen for you. And then you stupidly had unprotected sex with her and now you’ve got her knocked up” I said.

“I didn’t though” Tom said.

“You didn’t what?” I asked.

“I didn’t have unprotected sex with Sam. I am always careful” Tom said.

“What about if you got drunk? How can you be sure that you were careful?” I asked.

“Because I don’t want to be a dad that bad” Tom laughed.

“Fair enough.  But you know that a condom isn’t always 100% effective” I said.

“Yeah I know…she said she was on the pill” Tom growled.

“Oh Tom. Do you want a drink?” I asked.

“I want to go out” Tom said.

“Who with?” I asked.

“You. Let’s go babydoll” Tom grinned.

“Where are we going?” I asked, getting off of his lap.

“Out somewhere for dinner and then to a bar. Find out what Will is doing, invite him. Hey let’s invite everyone” Tom grinned, grabbing his phone and going to phone Danny. I grabbed Tom’s phone from him. “No let’s not invite everyone as they will question why you are drinking” I said.

“Fine just you and I then, come on girl” Tom said, placing his arm around me.

“What’s got into you all of a sudden Tom? You can’t go out and get hammered just because you found out that you are going to be a dad. It is a Friday so you will get recognised and everyone knows you never go out and get pissed so they will know that something is up” I said.

“You are such a party pooper Treasure but its fine as I love you so. Right I am going to get changed into something comfy and then we are going to order Chinese” Tom said before he kissed my head and then left the room.
