Amy is one of my best friends, I must talk about her one day...
But for the moment, I am just going to say that we share a hell of a lot of great memories.
And I just asked her to give me one to talk about, and she said (word for word copied from MSN) 'maybe we should try the thinking rubber bands'. My best friend Amy is an absolute genius. So that is why we are both sat in different rooms in different rooms with rubber bands around our heads.
Right so my rubber band sprang a memory to mind, so I am going to talk about that one.
This is the story of Blackcurrant Hands and Violet Hair, enjoy.
(NB I am slightly hyper due to talking to Amy so this might be a bit of a weird blog post...)
So once upon a time, in year 11 (says Amy), we were sat in Maths with Mrs Bryson (Okay so yes, it must have been year 11 seeing as we had Clarkeeee in year 10...gijdfj and not a good gijdfj), and I don't know what I was doing but I suddenly smelt my hands and they smelt like something nice...and that I recognized but couldn't put my mind to. So I turn to Amy and go 'what do my hands smell like?' and obviously, she just burst out laughing. But I was deadly serious so did not laugh. She stopped and ended up smelling my hands and said that yes, it did smell of something nice. A while later we realized that they smelt like blackcurrant jelly :') Then I suddenly thought 'why do they smell like blackcurrant jelly seeing as I haven't had anything of that flavour' (without sounding too posh...). A little while later we realized that my highlighter smelt like blackcurrant jelly so that is why my hands smelt like it. How the highlighter became to smell like blackcurrant jelly still remains a mystery.
Now onto Violet Hair. This was in English, on a Wednesday, in B Block. I was sat next to Amy (Like every other lesson that I shared with her...) and I was tired and bored and so I rested my head on her shoulder and suddenly, not realizing that I was speaking out loud, went 'why does your hair smell like violets?' Amy turned to look at me before sniffing her own hair, so I go 'the sweets, not the flowers' and she grinned and went 'it does!'...again, we never found out why...
So that is my tale of today :) From last year/the year before :)
