Laura Reviews: 'My Fitness Pal'

First thing to note is yes this is on behalf of yesterday, I was ill and forgot.
Second thing to note is blogger, you've changed your post writing thingy :D I like it :D

Right, not to get down to business. This will be brief, like all my other reviews, as I can't review things well any more. But basically, My Fitness Pal is an app on the iPod touch/iPhone and all that which counts your calories. Well, it doesn't count your calories magically, you have to actually tap it all in but it keeps a record of everything. And because I am overweight and wish to lose weight, it has become really useful. In fact, over the past 4 1/2 weeks I have lost nearly 8lbs. Which sounds great, but it's not that healthy really. I need to slow down in losing the weight as I feel like otherwise I won't stop loosing it. I have just under another stone to lose before I am at the weight I wish to be, but apparently, for me to have a healthy BMI, I would have to lose another stone after that which to me is too much.

It is a really good app and it does make you realise and think about what you are eating, especially when you are wanting to lose weight. For example, we had jacket potatoes a few weeks back and I wanted cheese on top but I didn't have enough calories for it. 20 minutes later of being on the exercise bike and I had enough calories for some cheese.

It's good and makes you think. It's not like a diet because you can eat what you want, you just have to be sensible in it. I got two packs of Pringles for Easter and I still haven't finished them due to this. Usually I would have scoffed my way though them within a few days. Don't be too harsh on yourself, treat yourself once in a while. It is okay if one day a week you go a little over.
